How to get to Santander port
Coming from the A-67 or S-10 motorways by car, follow the signs for "Santander" ignoring the yellow "Puerto" signs. Approaching the city, you have to go through a tunnel then after 800 meters turn right following the bright yellow sign for the ferry (it will have the symbol of a car) then continue until you reach a small roundabout. Take the third exit and cross the Santander port control point. At the entrance, there are indications for check-ins for each company. Coming from the centre of Santander, from the Pereda Gardens promenade, with the Brittany terminal on your left, follow the orange signs for "Ferry". You will be directed to go directly to "Avenida de Castilla". When you reach the end of the avenue, turn left following the directions for the ferry as mentioned above.
Long-stay parking spaces are not available inside the port, but nearby there are paid parking lots or unattended parking areas. The train is a very convenient solution as the station is just 5-10 minutes from the terminal and offers connections to Madrid, Bilbao, Alicante and Oviedo. The international airport is eight kilometres from the centre of Santander, connected by bus and taxi to the centre and the port.
