Which Balearic Island to choose?

Are you planning to spend your next holiday in the Balearics? Here are some little tips to help you choose which island best suits your needs!

Go clubbing on Ibiza
Ibiza is synonymous with nightclubs! This magnificent island is the ultimate island for those who love nightlife and discos! If you want to have some unforgettable evenings on the island that never sleeps then be sure to visit the megaclubs such as Pacha and Space, amongst others! Ibiza is the perfect destination for young people who want to party until dawn and laze on the beautiful beaches during the day! And why not?! The island is popular with revellers and celebrities alike so get your glad rags on and enjoy!

Admire some art on Mallorca
The white beaches, crystal clear waters, and unique landscapes on Mallorca will not leave you disappointed. However, alongside these natural wonders, there are also some artistic ones. For example, the Arab baths in Mallorca. They were left behind by the Moors who occupied the on the island during the 10th century and are located in Palma, next to the Museo de Mallorca. The central hall of the baths is a square building covered by a magnificent dome. The Gothic Cathedral is also worth a visit, along with the Almudaina Royal Palace, which was the residence of the Spanish monarchy and dates back to 1281. King James II of Mallorca commissioned a famous architect to create this beautiful fortress by renovating what used to be an old Arab noble palace. The full-on Gothic style of this building will leave you breathless.

Walk along the coast of Minorca
Minorca is the smallest island in the Balearics, and if you love long walks through nature then this place is ideal. We suggest that you take the Camì de Cavalls path, it's about 180 km and goes along the coast, you can even go by bicycle or on horseback! There are various landscapes to take in along the way as the path passes through rural areas, wetlands, rocks, and streams, in fact, UNESCO has declared the island a ‘biosphere reserve’.

Visit the hippy markets on Formentera
Each Wednesday and Sunday in La Mola, in the Northern part of the island, a hippy market is set up, where tourists can shop for local handicraft products! The market is incredibly colourful and there are plenty of stalls to explore. There are also bands and street performers to entertain the crowd so the atmosphere is great!
