Varberg in Sweden is on the west coast of the country. The port provides routes to Denmark. There are seven terminals located within the port: Nissakajen Quay, Eastern Harbor, Ironworks Quay, Kattegatt 500-, 600- and 700-quay and Oceanhamn 800-quay. Varberg covers over 300 hectares with 60 hectares of storage area.
How to reach Varberg port
The passenger terminals are close to the E6 motorway and the 25, 26, 41 and 153 highways. The parking area is free up to 24 hours and then for long-term parking is available, up to a maximum of 15 days. You can pay via an app. Varberg train station is a 10-minute walk from the terminal, or there are taxis just outside the station. The ferry terminal is about a 10-minute walk from the Varberg bus stop. The nearest international airport is in Gothenburg, about 90 kilometres from the port.
