The sea crossing between Syros and Thirassia is temporarily not in operation by ferry operators in partnership with NetFerry.
The port of Syros is located in Ermoupoli, the island's capital. From Syros there are ferries to the Cyclades islands, Piraeus and Crete.The port is surrounded by mountains and is overlooked by the town of Ano Syros.
