Skopelos has sea routes with Sporades Islands (Skiathos, Glossa/skopelos and Alonissos) and Greece (Mantoudi/evia and Volos). The between Skopelos and any other destination ferry line is not available at the moment by ferry operators connected to NetFerry.
The port of Skopelos is in an inlet on the east coast of the island, which offers mooring to mainly private boats and yachts and is the main port of the island.
There is a parking area near the port where you can leave your car and reach the center of the capital, Skopelos Town, on foot. There are buses that connect with the port from various points on the island. A bus network allows you to get around the island on public transport without your car. The central bus station is right at the exit of the port, and from here you can take the connection to Glossa, the second port on the island which is about 30 kilometers away.
There is no airport on the island of Skopelos and the closest one is on the island of Skiathos, where flights come in from both Athens, Thessaloniki and abroad. From the airport of Skiathos you can reach the port by taxi in about ten minutes, and from here you can board ferries that reach Skopelos Town.
