Fishguard is a small passenger ferry terminal in south Wales. It has a ticket reservation desk, accessible toilets; children’s play area, payphones, baby changing facilities, coffee shop, motorist lounge with TV and disabled assistance.

Getting to and from the passenger terminal

The passenger terminal is 2.6 kilometres from the town, so it only takes 6 minutes to drive. The best way to get to the port as a foot passenger is via the train, Arriva Trains Wales operate from Fishguard Harbor and have special trains to connect with the arrival and departures of the Stena Line Superferry Stena Europe that operates to/from Rosslare.

There are also local buses available from a bus stop called Parrog, situated one kilometre away. From here take the 410 bus into the centre of town, buses leave every 20 minutes. The private company, Richards Bros also operate a town service with bus stops at Fishguard town centre and Goodwick arriving at the port for the 13:10 sailing. Journey time is approximately 8 minutes from Fishguard.

The nearest international airport is in Cardiff, around a 2.5-hour drive away from Fishguard. On public transport, it will take you around 3 hours.

There is a long stay car park with around 60 spaces located 150 meters from the main terminal building and a short-term car park directly opposite with several large spaces for disabled badge holders. The car park is pay and display; the machines accept sterling coins and credit cards for hourly, daily, or weekly parking.
