The island of Amorgos is the easternmost of the Cyclades archipelago in Greece. The island is quite barren and the landscape is characterised by headlands that rise above and beaches that are lapped by beautiful crystal clear water. To the north of the island lies the beautiful village of Aegiali, you can find beaches for every taste and enjoy the beautiful clear waters in this fishing village.
Beaches
This area of Amorgos is particularly suitable for families with children because there are many sandy beaches with shallow water. The most touristy beach is Aegiali, this beach is about one kilometre long with soft sand. Levrossos beach is a quieter beach but also with soft sand and crystal clear sea, it can be reached easily on foot.
